With “Rickgards,” IC Welcomes its New CFO!

Internet Creations is happy to announce an exciting addition to its Executive Leadership team! Rick Disick, a finance and operations leader with over 35 years of expertise, has joined the company as its new CFO. IC employees welcomed Rick both in person at an outdoor tailgate event hosted at the IC headquarter offices, as well as via virtual coffee on the company’s weekly “cawfee tawk” call last week.

 Internet Creations Hires CFO Rick Disick
Disick will Lead Finance, HR and IT into the Next Phase of Company Growth

April 27, 2021: Hamilton, New Jersey —  Salesforce Consulting Partner and App Developer Internet Creations (“IC”), announced today the addition of Chief Financial Officer, Rick Disick, to its Executive Leadership team. As IC celebrates its 25th anniversary and its 8th year on the Inc 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S., Disick has been chosen to lead Finance, HR and IT into the company’s next phase of growth. The announcement was made by CEO, Felisa Palagi. 

“We reviewed over 600 applications for IC’s open CFO role, and Rick quickly rose to the top of the list,” said Palagi. “Rick’s track record of driving results, and years of leadership experience across finance and operations, make him a knowledgeable and exciting addition to our Executive Team.”

Prior to joining IC, Rick spent 12 years as CFO with Big Spaceship, a modern partner to ambitious brands, including Starbucks, Sony, jetBlue and Google. There, he oversaw accounting, client/vendor negotiations, and spent a large portion of his time mentoring and leading the financial and operations teams. He ran his own consulting business for 15 years where he provided hands-on CFO consulting and operational services for start-up to mid-sized companies across industries including manufacturing, advertising, healthcare, internet, media, biotech, SaaS, and hardware and computer consulting. Rick has also led numerous restructuring projects throughout his career, working with financially distressed companies. 

Rick also believes in giving back, and has dedicated time to tutor accounting, as well as guest lecturing at the Trenton Catholic Academy (“TCA”) in Hamilton where he spoke to business classes of Juniors and Seniors in areas of negotiations, finance, and communications. He also served on his town’s Open Space and Farmland Preservation council. Rick, a CPA, holds a degree in Business & Managerial Economics from SUNY Oneonta.
