Thanks is a very important part of our culture here at Internet Creations. (We even have a Chatter group dedicated to it!)
For us, consciously practicing gratitude ensures that meaningful contributions never go unnoticed. And now that we’ve eaten our way through all the delicious food from our annual Thanksgiving potluck, my colleagues and I took some time to reflect back with gratitude on 2015.
Here are just a few of the things in our everyday lives that we have to be thankful for this year.
“I am thankful for all the opportunities that have been and continue to be presented to me on a daily basis to grow both personally and professionally. I am also quite thankful for my family, friends, and perfect dog.” – Alex Liston, Sales Development Representative
“I am thankful for the hardworking people making advancements in cancer treatments every day. I am thankful for my friends that have gotten me through the hardest of times, my family for their love, my husband for keeping me smiling and being my rock, my employers for the support and peace of mind they give me, and my dog whose face just makes everything better.” – Christina Christ, Designer
“I’m thankful that I can provide for my family and that we can live comfortably. I’m thankful for my family and friends and the new edition to my family coming in April. I’m also thankful for the Mets making it to the World Series this year.” – Dan Leibowitz, Account Executive
“I am thankful for the health of my family and friends. I am grateful to have the opportunity to make others happy.” – George Guhr, Sales Manager
“I am thankful for my freedom and that I live in a place where I feel safe. I am thankful for the roof over my head, the food on my table, the blessing of good health, and awesome friends who encourage, motivate, and support me. I am also thankful to work for an organization that truly cares about its employees, the community and our customers, and for my family, my husband’s talent and creativity, and the sound of my beautiful daughter’s laughter. Finally, I am thankful for faith, hope, and love because those things are available in an endless supply and last a lifetime.” – Michelle Stevens, Account Executive
“I am thankful to be surrounded by supportive people, both at home and at work.” – Tyler Cranden, Sales Development Representative
“I’m thankful for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And for Elon Musk’s quest to make humankind an interplanetary species.” – Anthony Pica, Director of Marketing
As for me, I’m thankful for the happiness I’ve found in my sweet new job with my awesome manager and colleagues who are always willing to help out. I’m thankful for my cat, whose fluffy warmth is always welcome, particularly when it’s cold in the mornings. And I’m especially thankful to all of our blog readers! Thank you for reading and sharing our posts. I hope you enjoy them.
We at Internet Creations wish everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving and a great start to the holiday season!
